
CHANGING PATHS WITH CHILDREN
A class for families experiencing divorce or custody issues
This video/discussion-based curriculum will help you understand the needs of your children during this time of transition and guide you in focusing clearly upon your childrens’ best interests.
Curriculum includes:
- The effects of divorce on men and women
- What your child is learning from you
- Developmental stages of children
- The child’s psychological reaction to divorce or parental separation
- How to avoid communication parenting mistakes
- How to keep your children “out of the middle”
- How to tell if your child is in trouble
- The art of cooperative parenting
- Developing a parenting plan
This class meets the requirements of the District Court of Lancaster County and has been approved by the State Court Administrator as outlined in Nebraska LB554 (January 2008).
