The Mediation Center has helped many landlords and tenants settle disputes and resolve problems concerning where they live. Mediation can help provide fast, fair, and lasting solutions to problems facing property managers, landlords, and tenants.
Mediation can help resolve disputes involving issues such as:
- property repairs
- maintenance of common areas
- access to units
- nonpayment of rent
- rent increases or payments
- evictions & mutual termination agreements
- security deposits
- noise and pet issues
The Landlord-Tenant Mediation Pilot Program
In partnership with Justice In Action, the Landlord-Tenant Mediation Pilot Program is now underway. As part of this program, The Mediation Center is providing mediation services to residential landlords and tenants at no cost to the parties. If you are a residential landlord or a tenant with a dispute, you can initiate a request for a mediation by completing this online form.
A member of The Mediation Center team will help to determine whether mediation is appropriate for your situation, and whether all parties are willing participate in the mediation process.
